Chocolate Toffee Almond Bark

We have a plethera of nuts right now. Which is very rare because I never buy nuts, they are too expensive. I think these are all from the in-laws (thanks Okaasan). So I made chocolate bark! With almonds and heath, hubby's favorites. They taste perfect together.

Rating: 10/10
Why: It tastes exactly as expected: yummy.

Chocolate Toffee Almond Bark
  • 2 c milk chocolate melting chips or chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c whole almonds
  • 1/2-3/4 c heath chocolate toffee bits

Directions:

Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Melt the chocolate in a heat-proof bowl over a simmering pot of water. Once it is smooth, remove from heat and stir in the almonds.

Pour the chocolate onto the baking sheet and spread it until it is as thick or as thin as you desire. Then sprinkle the heath over the top, gently pushing it into the chocolate so that it sticks.

Place that in the fridge until it hardens (about 20 minutes) and break into pieces.
